A favorite end of summer tradition – dogs get the last lap in area swimming pools as the pools close for the season. Proceeds benefit Roice-Hurst Humane Society.
Bring proof of vaccination records for your dog. One dog swims for $5; 3 dogs are $10.
When the Fruita outdoor pool is closed to humans, your dog can come and play in the water! Dog Daze admission is a voluntary donation to Roice-Hurst Humane Society.
Check-in will be at the gate, pool side. Please keep your dog on a leash until permitted into the outdoor pool. Any aggressive behavior by dogs will be required to leave the facility and we ask that you pick up after your dog.
Small dogs (25 pounds or less) can get into the water from 10-11:30 am. Large dogs can swim from 11:30-2pm.
Man’s best friend can leap off the diving board, splash in the shallow end, and chase tennis balls and Frisbees on the lawn. Don’t miss this great end-of-summer event! The pool is available for canines ONLY; no humans will be allowed to swim.
