GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (Oct. 18, 2010) – In honor of Pet Dental Month, Tiara Rado Animal Hospital is proudly offering the "Ugliest Dog" Facebook photo contest. The "ugliest dog" wins a free teeth cleaning.
"We're holding this contest to bring attention to the importance of good dental hygiene for your dog," Tiara Rado Animal Hospital veterinarian and owner Bob Marquis said. "As with humans, it's important to keep your dog's teeth clean to prevent disease and promote good health."
According to Practice Manager Susan Kingsbury, "We adore all the animals that come into our clinic, and we think this is a fun way to display all the cute dogs, even when they're not the most photogenic."
To participate in the contest, entrants are to post their "ugly dog" photos on the Tiara Rado Animal Hospital Facebook wall at www.facebook.com/trahospital. To win, the entrant's friends need to "like" the picture. The person receiving the most "likes," no matter how cute or ugly the dog is, wins a free teeth cleaning.
The contest runs through Feb. 28, 2011.
