In an effort to keep Tiara Rado Animal Hospital on top of the latest treatments for your pets, the practice invested in a new x-ray machine that includes fluoroscopy.
Fluoroscopy is real-time x-ray technology that shows how a body part is moving. For example, a collapsing trachea is hard to diagnose. With the fluoroscopy technology, veterinarians are able to see the trachea collapse through the series of pictures taken, diagnose the problem and correct it with a tracheal stent.
Fluoroscopy may be applied to urologic, neurologic, orthopedic and gastrointestinal procedures.
