WCCC Student Job Shadowing at TRAH

We’re looking for high school students interested in veterinary medicine! Western Colorado Community College (WCCC) offers a Medical Preparation program that trains high school students for a career as a Veterinary Assistant. Tiara Rado Animal Hospital participates in the WCCC job shadow program and enjoys mentoring these bright and eager students!

TRAH Scholarship Program

Each year Tiara Rado Animal Hospital offers two scholarships to students attending Colorado Mesa University (CMU) who meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Mesa County resident
  • Have 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Be a Science or Business major

Scholarships are awarded to one Business major and one Science major. Students are selected by the faculty staff in those departments. The scholarship award is $1000 per year. Application process begins October 1 and ends December 31 for the following academic year.
